Girls Summer Soccer Camp
This summer RHS will be hosting an all girls soccer camp the week of June 11th-June 15th. The camp is for girls ages 7-13+. Camp will begin at 9:00am and end at 12:00pm at Ray Manus Stadium on the RHS campus. Please see the link above under the forms tab to register.
End of the Season
Congratulations to both girls teams of the RHS Soccer prgram. Varsity girls finished with a record of 10-5-1! The JV girls made it to their tournament!
Thanks to all the parents for helping put together an awesome banquet to celebrate the season!

Second Leg of the Season
4-12-12
After spring break the varsity girls have 5 matches left, 2 non-region games and 3 region games. The girls faced 4A Chamblee last night and got the win with a goal in each half. The first goal was an own goal and the second goal was scored by junior Kelsey Nix and assisted by sophomore Mia Naipaul, for a final of 2-0. The hornets are back in action Friday April 13th away at North View at 5:55.

Varsity Girls are 5-0-0 After Win Over Wesleyan

The varsity girls went on the road for the second time of the season away at Wesleyan. It was an even match with a score of 0-0 at the half. The hornets came out strong in the second half and Abby Weinstein scored in the first minute of the half. Wesleyan answered back and it was all tied at 1-1. The conditions were anything but great with pooring rain and a wet pitch. However, the hornets fought back hard and got 2 goals; the second from a corner and the third from great individual play by Kelsey Nix. The game ended with a 3-1 win and an undefeated record for the Lady Hornets!

The lady hornets shut out the North Atlanta Warriors last night in a 10-0 victory! It didn't take long for the girls to take control of the game. 5 goals were scored in each half. Goals were scored by the following players: Ally Baron (2), Rachel Tenny, Kelsey Nix, Alli Palmatier, Abby Weinstein, Liz Franco, Ashley Armfield, and Kristen Lagasse. Assists came from Abby Weinstein, Abby Baudry, Rachel Tenny, Cari Oster, and Kristen Lagasse.

JV Girls Win First Home Game

The jv girls are 2-1-0 for the season so far and were able to win on Monday February 20th. This game was the first home game for the JV Lady Hornets and they took the win with a score of 10-0 against Kell.
Varsity Girls On a Roll

The girls hosted South Forsyth on Wednesday February 15th and Chattahoochee on Friday February 17th. Between the 2 games the girls were able to net 9 goals to their oppenents 2!
The hornets beat South Forsyth 4-1 and turned right around and beat the Cougars
5-1. Goals agianst South Forsyth are credited to Liz Franco, Ashley Armfield, and Kelsey Nix with 2. Assists were from Rachel Tenny, Kelsey Nix, Abby Weinstein, and Ashley Armfield.
Goals agianst Chattahoochee are credited to Ally Baron, Kelsey Nix, Carli Oster, and 2 for Liz Franco. Assists go to Rachel Tenny, Kelsey Nix, and Abby Weinstein.
Varsity Wins Exhibition Game vs Cherokee
The Roswell Lady Hornets had many chances in the first half, including hitting one off the post. Roswell spent the majority of the first 30 minutes in Cherokee's half but when into half time with a score of 0-0. The Hornets came out the second half determined but Cherokee's strong goal keeper was just as determined. Finally, the Hornets were able to connect with the back of the net with a finish by senior Carli Oster. Not even 2 minutes later the Hornets found their second goal of the night finished by junior Liz Franco. The girls were happy to go into the weekend with a 2-0 win over the Warriors.
